.) If a baby who normally sleep most of the night is up every 3 hours 2 days in a row, perhaps there is a reason. It might even be due to the top two teeth coming in.
.) Do not (in an attempt to make the house look cleaner) put the baby's Orajel out into the mudroom when it is 20 below zero outside. Gels will freeze solid.
.) Always have a back-up supply of Orajel stashed somewhere in the house. Babies do not enjoy frozen Orajel rubbed onto their gums.
.) When you find said stashed Orajel, baby will still not like it rubbed into their gums.
.) Babies with Orajel on their gums are lousy nursers. It must have something to do with the fact that half their mouth is numb.
.b.) Babies get very mad at their mothers when they are unable to nurse effectively.
.) Babies with 2 teeth coming in do not like you to touch their new teeth. However, they are inordinately proud any teeth already in.
